We Finally Made It!!!!!

WE MADE IT!!! WE MADE IT!! We arrived in Mombasa at about 2:00am Friday Kenya time.  We have been loved on since we've been here.  Our driver Johnson is such a sweetie pie, he gave all of us hugs upon arriving at the airport.  We made it to the hotel around 3:15am and then woke up early to go to the school ending ceremony for the children, which we absolutely loved.  They were all so happy and as soon as we saw them they put their arms out for us to pick them up.  They are really sweet and I am already attached to them.  Today is our rest day, as our bodies haven't quite adjusted to Kenya time.  We got to meet Jenny and the Moore's who are also sweet people.  We had to adjust riding on the left side of the road and not thinking that we are going to crash into people lol.. Dinner was good and today was Allison's birthday in which they put her in a special chair at the table and they sung Happy Birthday to her in their language and as well as English.  She really enjoyed herself and we all enjoyed the cake.  They are really sincere about making us feel comfortable and appreciated.  Upon completing dinner we helped with packaging the medicine into smaller containers with Lisa, so now we can call ourselves mini pharmacists lol..  We all Love it out here and we are eager to start VBS and go into the homes of the students and understand the daily living.


Often times we take so much for granted, and forget that some people have bigger battles than getting the latest fashion such as when the next time they will eat.  Our hearts have all started showing gratitude towards what we have and how much we complain about little things.  To our families, we love you all so much and want you to know that we are safe. Mauh!!
